Morning Routine
As the air conditioning technician for All Makes Heating and Air Conditioning Corp (AMHAC), my day starts bright and early. After fueling up with a hearty breakfast, I grab my toolkit and head out to the first job site.
On-Site Installations
Today’s task is a new AC installation for a residential client in East Hartford. Upon arrival, I assess the layout and plan the most efficient setup. With precision and care, I begin the intricate process of installing the outdoor unit, running the refrigerant lines, and connecting the indoor air handler.
- Inspect the existing ductwork
- Mount the outdoor condensing unit
- Install the indoor evaporator coil
- Connect the refrigerant lines
- Wire the electrical components
Troubleshooting Challenges
No day is complete without a few hiccups along the way. During the installation, I encountered an issue with the air conditioning system’s airflow. Undeterred, I methodically checked each component until I identified the culprit – a partially blocked return vent. After clearing the obstruction, the system sprang back to life, delivering cool, refreshing air throughout the home.
Customer Satisfaction
As the day winds down, I take immense pride in a job well done. The homeowners are thrilled with their new, energy-efficient AC unit, and I revel in their satisfaction. It’s moments like these that make the long hours and hard work worthwhile.
With another successful installation under my belt, I head back to the AMHAC office, ready to tackle whatever challenges tomorrow may bring.
